Our performance of the amazing second movement of George Walker's quartet. This was a delight to put together with my friends, and I'm so thrilled to have been able to perform this on my recital. This piece and all of its movements are a "must-know" for aspiring composers of string quartets, so I hope you'll take it upon yourself to explore the whole work. Super proud to share with you this piece from my recital: Adolphus Hailstork's rhapsody, Sanctum. This was a wonderful piece to discover and put together with Zerek, and I'm really pleased with the result; I hope you enjoy this awesome piece as much as I have!

It's been a while since I've posted a performance, and I thought since things will be getting a little busier and I need to catch up with making some Orchestration Minutes, this would be a nice time to share some performances from the last year! This is a performance from a 12-hour marathon concert that my friends Claire Gunsbury and Grace Stringfellow hosted on April 30th, 2021. It was really fun to put this duo together with Claire and I feel really pleased with this performance :-) (there's a fuckup in the second movement from myself, but everything else is smooth sailing lol)
